2008 9th Annual Silicon Valley Kids Triathlon

Sunday, June 1st, 2008
De Anza College, Cupertino, California
First Wave Starts at 8:00am

We've all heard of the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon, but did you know that young athletes here in California also have the opportunity to use their swimming, cycling, and running skills but in something that is much less serious and strenuous than an Ironman?  The Silicon Valley Kids Triathlon is one of the country's premier youth athletic events.  We provide a day of triathlon for kids of all ages and abilities.  This event emphasizes health, self-esteem, self-confidence and fun, in a safe, family-friendly environment.

This year's 9th Annual Silicon Valley Kids Triathlon will be our largest yet. The event date is Sunday, June 1, 2008 and it will be held at our usual location, De Anza College in Cupertino. Registration opens on Monday, February 18th.   We are increasing the number of participants to 850 but this event sells out fast so please register early  Also, check this web page periodically for Announcements and updates.  The Silicon Valley Kids Triathlon raises money for the Silicon Valley Children's Fund (http://www.svcf.org), a non-profit organization that benefits foster children here in Silicon Valley.
